Howie works because every person in it takes the community seriously. These guidelines exist to protect that. They apply to every member — whether you are looking for a partner or introducing two people you care about.
Your profile must represent you accurately. Real photos, your actual profession, your genuine intentions. Howie is built on trust — misrepresenting yourself undermines every person in your network.
Howie is a platform for people who are serious about finding a life partner. If that is not where you are right now, this is not the right platform. There is no pressure, but there must be honesty.
When someone introduces you to another person, they are putting their own trust on the line. Respond with respect, even if you decide to pass. A thoughtful "no" is always better than silence.
Unsolicited pressure, repeated contact after a clear decline, or any form of harassment will result in immediate removal. No exceptions. The introducer in every conversation is also responsible for calling this out if they see it.
What is shared in a Howie conversation stays there. Screenshots, forwarding messages without consent, or sharing personal details outside the platform is a violation of trust and will result in removal.
If you are making an introduction, do it because you honestly think two people would work well together — not to do someone a favour, not out of obligation. A good introduction is one you would stand behind.
Howie welcomes people across caste, religion, community, and background. Discriminatory comments, caste-based filtering, or any behaviour that demeans another person will not be tolerated.
If you experience or witness a violation, email us at howiee2026@gmail.com. We review every report personally.
